If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture,

Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself,

ye do well:

But if you have respect to persons,

You commit sin,

And are convicted of the law as transgressors.

James 2:9

God commands us to love our neighbor, but it is a sin to “respect persons.” What does this mean? How can we do it?
